Production Environment Committee (Creating a Green Landscape)
- Since 1973, we have been working to green the area around our factory, contributing to the local environment and improving the working environment.

Energy Conservation Committee
- At Kotobuki Pharmaceutical, we monitor our energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions on a daily basis and are committed to working to reduce them.
Waste Reduction Committee (reducing CO2 emissions, reducing waste)
- We strive to promote the 3Rs of waste (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) and its proper disposal.
Water Quality Testing Committee
- Since 1978, we have been using an activated sludge wastewater treatment system.
- Since 1978, we have been conducting water quality tests at the discharge outlet (three items: BOD, pH, and coliform bacteria count) at least three times a year.
- Since 1978, we have been conducting water quality tests of surrounding well water (three items: COD, pH, and phenol) at least five times a year.
SDGs Promotion Committee
- We are promoting the incorporation of the SDGs in our company.
Human Rights Initiatives
We respect the International Bill of Human Rights, which is an international standard on human rights, and promote corporate activities based on the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work. We are also a member of the Sakaki Town Corporate Human Rights and Dowa Education Promotion Council.
Kotobuki Pharmaceutical has established a “Human Rights Policy” and is committed to respecting human rights.

- Kotobuki Pharmaceutical is a member of the “Rose People Association,” which prunes roses and weeds the park to maintain the Sakaki Chikuma River Rose Park.
